The model MED3550 is designed for use in daily quality control of dose calibrators. These long-lived reference sources allow for accurate and easy measurement of instrument response.
Each standard contains a uniform distribution of activity in 10 mL of epoxy sealed beneath 10 mL of inactive epoxy resin in a colour coded polyethylene vial. Each standard Is NIST traceable, calibrated to less than +/- 5% uncertainty. All sources are supplied in a vinyl covered, lead shield and are accompanied by a certificate of calibration and leak test report. Each source has an ANSI classification of ISO.2919.
Sets of nuclides are supplied in durable storage cases for easy transportation and handling.
