For your daily routine use of markers in Nuclear Medicine, I.D.B. Holland offers you pen point markers, spot markers, flexible markers etc. Standard activities are available from stock. Custom size activities require four weeks notice before delivery.

Pen Point Marker
The Pen Point Marker contains 100 uCi of Co-57. The overall length of the Pen Point Marker is 206 mm and the overall diameter is 6.35 mm. The activity is placed on a bead that is welded into the pen point. The Pen Point Marker is supplied with a brass storage cap.

Spot Marker
The Model MED3503 consists of a 25.4 mm diameter clear acrylic disc with a 3 mm active region cast in coloured epoxy. Each source is also supplied with a technical data sheet and leak test report.

Flexible Marker
The Model MED3500 is an extremely flexible unit containing a uniform distribution of Co-57 in coloured epoxy resin in a 0.2 cm diameter by 52 cm long durable plastic tubing. Each source is sealed with epoxy and secured with crimp sealed metal end caps giving a total active length of 50 cm.

Right and Left Marker
The Right and Left Marker set consists of two 50.4 mm diameter discs containing a total amount of 100 uCi of Co-57. Each disc has a 'R' or 'L' milled out and filled with epoxy containing the Co-57. A storage case is provided with each set.

Flexible Ruler
The Model MED3501 Flexible Ruler consists of alternating 1 cm active Co-57 and inactive segments in a 0.5 cm diameter clear polyethylene tubing. Twenty-three active and twenty-four inactive segments give an active length of 45 cm with an overall length of 51 cm. Each source is sealed with epoxy and secured with crimp sealed metal end caps.

Rigid Ruler
The Model MED3502 Rigid Ruler consists of alternating 1 cm active Co-57 and inactive segments in a 0.5 cm diameter clear, rigid plastic tubing. Eight active and nine inactive segments give an active length of 15 cm with an overall length of 21 cm. Each source is sealed with epoxy and secured with crimp sealed metal end caps.

Calibration Standards
Calibration Standards I.D.B. Holland offers a variety of NIST traceable calibrated reference standards. The standards described below are provided with a typical calibration accuracy of +/- 3-5% at the 99% confidence level. All sources described below are provided individually or in sets to meet your specific requirements.
